● V&A Pocket Magazine
Design Vision
As a design solution to draw attention to the smaller, often overlooked artifacts overshadowed by the grand and glamorous collections of museums, I created this book. To connect all these stories, I chose the pocket as a central motif. Pockets, much like hidden rooms in architecture, are personal and mysterious spaces. This book explores small objects from the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) collection. These objects, small enough to fit in a pocket, carry deep meaning and have had a lasting impact on human history and everyday life. Have you ever imagined that a pocket could hold someone's life, time, or even music?
While working on this book, l also learned about the social impact pockets have historically had on women. The history of pockets is intertwined with the history of women's rights, ownership, and politics. This book tells the story of a vast and fascinating world hidden within seemingly insignificant objects. It brings me great joy to share this beautiful story with you through the lens of the V&A collection.

Book Design
The typography of this book is designed using the Yodo and Khalos typefaces. I envisioned how letters would interact within a pocket, visualizing its adaptability through the framing of images and the arrangement of text. By integrating images into the pocket frame, I explored unique layouts, allowing the letters to blend seamlessly into the space as graphic elements.
Additionally, the enlarged pocket frame serves as a linear connector between images and text, adding a fresh and dynamic touch to the book’s design.
